top of the hill, one mile west of the Town Hall, <strong>and</strong> is now owned<br />

<strong>and</strong> occupied by the brothers Horace A. <strong>and</strong> Watson Smith.<br />

(Durfee) Dennis, of Portsmouth, by whom he had two<br />

children; 2d, March 6, 1760, widow Catherine (Williams)<br />

Lunt, of Taunton, by whom he had one child. It is<br />

believed that he d. in Portsmouth.<br />

He was a Justice of the Peace in Portsmouth in 1744.<br />
