beth (Young) Earle, b. Oct. 21, 181 1, in Chester, Vt. ;
m. June 14, 1842, Elizabeth, dau. of Joshua and Aurelia
Barker, of New Bedford, Mass. ; lived in Middleboro,'
Mass., until 1846; in Rockland, Me., from 1846 to 1854,
and was postmaster there during President Fillmore's
administration. They removed, in 1854, to San Francisco,
Cal., where they still live, and he has been, by
occupation, a merchant.
Their children were :
1637-1. Henry Halford Earle, b. July 13, 1843 ; m. Helen M.
Parker.
