W., dau. of Noel Freeborn, <strong>and</strong> lived in Portsmouth till<br />

after the birth of <strong>his</strong> second child. No further trace of<br />

him has been found. He probably died there.<br />

497-1. Eleanor <strong>Earle</strong>, b. Aug. 13, 1770; m. Nov. 22, 1795,<br />

George Sisson.<br />

Nov. 14, 1765, Mary Palmer, of Little Compton, R. I. ;<br />

d. about 1 77 1. His widow m. Christopher <strong>Earle</strong> [244-5].<br />

" Lawton Earl's ear mark for <strong>his</strong> creatures is a hole in the left ear,<br />

<strong>and</strong> a slit in the end of the same." Recorded in Westport, July 30,<br />

1796.<br />
