The following products have their own product-specific build routine which has not been
updated in release 12.0, but they do call COMUS-provided standard build subroutines
(CB$OPTTAPE, CB$REQTAPE, CB$SGS, CB$LDSVCTRL, and CB$SAVE) to solicit for
tape input and assign tapes. These products support the COMUS buffered-write and
pool-id feature for the BUILD command, provided the tape assign image produced does
not exceed 80 characters and the SGS image produced does not exceed 96 characters.

Note: For temporary tapes and cataloged input tapes, COMUS appends “. ASG
IMAGE” to the tape assign image which counts towards the image length.

or build their own, mostly print, tape assign images. These products have not updated
their build routine for release 12.0 and, therefore, do not support the COMUS bufferedwrite
and pool-id feature for the BUILD command.

Notes:
• Except CML and CSC which create their own NEWMASTER tape assign image,
buffered-write and pool-id parameters can be specified for the output master tape for
these products provided the assign image produced does not exceed 80 characters
and the SGS image produced does not exceed 96 characters.
• See PLE 18462915 for methods of specifying unsupported tape assignment
parameters during the BUILD command for these products.
• All other OS 2200 products are released in nonsymbolic format and do not use the
COMUS BUILD command.
• *Denotes asynchronously released products not included in release 12.0.
