Product Interdependencies
UC CKRS, DFP, DPS, I18NLIB, MCB, PCFP, SFS, SORT, and UREP are optional
execution dependencies.
PADS is required to do interactive debugging with PADS.
RDMS is required to execute a program containing calls to rsa.
CIFS is required to build or execute CIFSCC. If CIFS is not installed, CIFSCC is
not rebuilt.
UCOB CIFS and JVM are required to use the ZIP/UNZIP routines.
CKRS, DFP, DPS, 18NLIB, MCB, PCFP, PDP, SFS, and UREP are optional
execution dependencies.
DMS is required to use DMS features with UCOB.
PADS is required to use the debugging capabilities of PADS with UCOB.
RDMS is required to use the Relational Database features with UCOB.
UDSC ACOB is used for DMS subproduct generation.
SORT is used by RDMS, DMS, and UREP subproducts during execution.
UC is used for UREP subproduct generation.
UFTN CKRS, DFP, DPS, MCB, PCFP, SFS, SORT, and UREP are optional execution
dependencies.
DMS is required to use the DMS features with UFTN.
PADS is required to use the debugging capabilities of PADS with UFTN.
RDMS is required to use the Relational Database features with UFTN.
UPLS PADS is required to use the debugging capabilities of PADS with UPLS.
PCIOS is required to do SEQUENTIAL or DIRECT I/O.
UREP DMS, DPS, and RDMS are optional execution dependencies.
IPF is required for the UREP editing feature.
UC, UCOB, or UFTN are required only when the repository is used for storing or
retrieving compile-time information. DPS is required only in similar
circumstances.
UREP must be installed in the default application group to use the features of
UCS products that are integrated with RDMS or UREP on an alternate
application group.
URTS PCIOS is required if you do
• SEQUENTIAL, RELATIVE, or INDEXED I/O in a UCOB program
• SEQUENTIAL or DIRECT I/O in a UFTN program
• TEXT or BINARY I/O in a UC program
PCIOS is also required for some UPLS I/O.
SORT is an optional execution dependency.
