Systems Terminology Overview
When new platforms are introduced, new components and new names are sometimes
used. Table 3–4 compares the names of components on Dorado 300 and 700/800 Server
systems with the names on the Dorado 400 and 4000/4100/4200 Server systems that
are the closest match.

Dorado 400, 4000, 4100, and 4200 Server systems I/O are based on PCI standards. IOPs
from Dorado 100 and 200 Server platforms are not compatible with the new system
architecture.
