Operations Sentinel Basic Edition (Formerly Single Point Operations)
5.35. Operations Sentinel Basic Edition (Formerly
Single Point Operations)
For detailed considerations, see Section 8.
Note: Single Point Operations is now called Operations Sentinel. Throughout this
document, however, the former product name, Single Point Operations, is used in some
cases when referring to old levels of the product.
ClearPath OS 2200 Release 13.1
Compatibility
Operations Sentinel level 10.x and previous releases are not compatible with Operations
Sentinel level 12.1. Configurations developed under 10.x and previous releases must be
manually recreated to be used with the new Operations Sentinel 12.1 data model
structures. Backward compatibility is not supported either, in that Operations Sentinel
level 12.1 configurations cannot be used by the Operations Sentinel level 10.x and
previous levels.
The installation of Operations Sentinel 12.1 provides an opportunity to carry forward and
convert the 11.x configuration to the 12.1 structure. This is available at the installer's
choice.
Migration
Migration from Operations Sentinel level 10.x and previous releases requires manual
recreation of the configuration to the Operations Sentinel level 12.1 data model.
ClearPath OS 2200 Release 13.0
Compatibility
Operations Sentinel level 10.x and previous releases are not compatible with Operations
Sentinel level 12.0. Configurations developed under 10.x and previous releases must be
manually recreated to be used with the new Operations Sentinel 12.0 data model
structures. Backward compatibility is not supported either, in that Operations Sentinel
level 12.0 configurations cannot be used by the Operations Sentinel level 10.x and
previous levels.
The installation of Operations Sentinel 12.0 provides an opportunity to carry forward and
convert the 11.x configuration to the 12.0 structure. This is available at the installer's
choice.
Migration
Migration from Operations Sentinel level 10.x and previous releases requires manual
recreation of the configuration to the Operations Sentinel level 12.0 data model.
ClearPath OS 2200 Release 12.0
Compatibility
Operations Sentinel 11.1 is a stability update to Operations Sentinel 11.0. Similar to 11.0,
11.1 is also not compatible with previous levels (10.x and earlier).
