4.1. General Exec Considerations
This subsection identifies general Exec migration and compatibility considerations by
software release level.

4.1.1. ClearPath OS 2200 Release 13.1
The Exec "IT" keyin is enhanced and modified to mini mize the customer confusion
caused by incomplete documentation and inadequate console message descriptions.

1. Modifies the IT,TIMER logic to use the keyword "CLEAR" to clear the current
disk timer values and set the system logic to use the default disk timer values.
The keyin format is:
"IT,TIMER CLEAR" and the response to this keyin is:
DISK TIMER VALUES RESET TO DEFAULTS
DISK IOP TIMEOUT VALUE IS 4 SECONDS.
DISK HOST TIMEOUT VALUE IS 6 TO 13 SECONDS.
2. The IT,TAPTIM keyin is changed to echo the value entered if it is in the
range of 12 through 300. If the value is a non-zero value less than 12, 12
seconds is used. If the value is greater than 300, 300 seconds is used. The value
of zero is not legal. CLEAR is used to reset the realtime values back to the
default non-realtime values.
3. The IT keyin to enable/disable the SCIOP internal traces is being modified to
accept the ON, OFF, and STATUS options as defined for the original IT trace
keyins.
