Considerations
Beginning with ClearPath OS 2200 Release 12.0, if you are entitled to the JBoss
product, you will not receive the JBoss software product key with your ClearPath
Release 12.0 delivery. To acquire the JBoss software product key, you will be
instructed to access a web page where you will be asked to accept an End User
License Agreement (EULA) and request the key.
• Software Logical Package changes
A new Logical package CPHD-05 has been created to allow room to distribute the
ClearPath Release 12.0 products. With the introduction of this new package, the
contents of several of the package tapes have been changed.
Following is the new packaging structure for 36-track Logical Packages, DLT
Packages, and DVD packages.

− Cipher API was previously delivered as a non-keyed, stand-alone product. It was
keyed and included on the CP17 package tape.
− JBoss is delivered as both a CD-ROM and a keyed, SOLAR installable product.
The SOLAR installable portion of the product was delivered on the CP12
package tape.
− IC2200 (Interconnect) was delivered on the CP12 package tape in the ClearPath
12.0 Release.
− CPComm, CPCommOS, COMAPI, and SILAS previously delivered on CP04 are
delivered on the new CP-COMMSUITE package in the ClearPath 12.0 Release.
