Operations Sentinel (Formerly Single
Point Operations)
Note: Operations Sentinel was formerly called Single Point Operations. Throughout this
document, however, the former product name, Single Point Operations, is used in some
cases when referring to lower levels of the product.
ClearPath OS 2200 Release 13.2 supports Operations Sentinel Basic Edition level 12.1.
This version supports all Dorado models for OS 2200 systems. To run this version, you
need a server such as one from the ES3000 series running Microsoft Windows Server
2003 or 2008. When installing Operations Sentinel 11.1 on a server that has Operations
Sentinel 11.0 installed, the installer has the option of copying the 11.0 configuration and
merging 11.1 corrections into the 11.1 configuration. This avoids the need to manually
recreate the configuration as was required with Operations Sentinel 11.0.
For ClearPath Plus Dorado Server Model 110 users, Basic Edition is also supported on
Windows XP Professional, but only when running on the Service Processor.
When migrating to Operations Sentinel 11.0 or higher, users of any previous level of
Single Point Operations must manually recreate their monitoring configurations. No
conversion utility is provided with Operations Sentinel 11.x to migrate 10.x and earlier
configurations to 11.x.
