The installation of Operations Sentinel 11.1 server examines the server environment for
11.0 installation. If one is found, the installer is offered the option of having the 11.0 data
copied to the 11.1 data folder with corrections for problems identified in 11.0 merged
into the folder. This preserves the 11.0 configuration and eliminates the need to
manually redefine it as is required when installing Operations Sentinel 11.0.

Migration
When migrating to a new level of the RDMS-JDBC product, the new client component
(RDMSDriver.jar), must be distributed or deployed to any application that is using the
new JDBC Server or Service. The old version of the RDMSDriver.jar will not work with
the new version of the JDBC Server or Service. The JDBC Server/Service detects and
reports the mis-matched levels. The new version of the RDMSDriver.jar is in the installed
location of the program file *JDBC$Client. (for example,
UDS$$SRC*JDBC$Client.RDMSDriver.jar). The level of the RDMSDriver.jar can be found
by looking at the "Manifest.mf" inside of the RDMSDriver.jar. You can also install and run
multiple copies of the JDBC Server/Service on the same host using different port
numbers. See the User Guide for details. This allows you to have multiple product levels
running to support your migration efforts.
