DDP-PPC Considerations
The DDP-PPC 7R3A product delivered in the ClearPath OS 2200 Release 13.2 will not
function on a Dorado 400 system that is running CPCommOS level 2R2. To avoid this
issue, you can either run DDP-PPC level 7R2E or make configuration changes to
DDP-PPC level 7R3A.
The migration scenarios documented in Section 7 of this document install DDP PPC
7R3A from either the CP-OE1B fast-load tape or the CP10 package tape. Once the
DDP-PPC 7R3A product is installed, the following configuration changes must be
applied:
The CPMODE keyword in the OSITSU and TASTSU records of the DDP-PPC
configuration file must be set to CMSA (CPMODE=CMSA).
Dorado 400 Plateau and ClearPath Release Interdependencies
Table 7–5 details the interdependencies that exist between the Exec and CPCommOS
products and the plateau level. Use this table to verify that the product levels you plan to
install are supported.
For Dorado 4100 systems, ClearPath OS 2200 Release 13.2 is tightly paired with Plateau
1.2. If your system is not currently on Plateau 1.2 you must install this level before
migrating your software to the ClearPath OS 2200 13.2 Release.
