Compatibility<br />

Enterprise Output Manager (EOM)<br />

There are no changes to the <strong>OS</strong> <strong>2200</strong> Output Manger Component. <strong>OS</strong> <strong>2200</strong> Output<br />

Manager level 7.0 <strong>and</strong> higher are compatible with the Windows Output Manager level<br />

8.1 component. Similarly, the Windows Output Manager level 7.0 <strong>and</strong> higher are<br />

compatible with the <strong>OS</strong> <strong>2200</strong> Output Manager level 8.1 component. Refer to the<br />

Enterprise Output Manager Help for specific details relating to <strong>OS</strong> <strong>2200</strong> operations.<br />

This release of Windows Enterprise Output Manager is a feature release <strong>and</strong> additionally<br />

includes fixes to problems reported since release level 8.0.<br />

Migration<br />

This is a continuation of Enterprise Output Manager 8.0. All prior levels of Output<br />

Manager can be migrated to Output Manager 8.1; however, level 8.1 will automatically<br />

upgrade only levels 8.0, 7.1, <strong>and</strong> 7.0. To migrate Output Manager 6.1 <strong>and</strong> earlier levels to<br />

8.1, you must use the configuration import functionality to complete the migration.<br />
