colleges in 1936 because those colleges were saturated<br />

by the Kurdish applicants. In addition to that he made<br />

several preparations to declare the independence of<br />

<strong>Kurdistan</strong>. However, the conspiracy on his life came<br />

before that <strong>and</strong> this hero Bakir Sidqi was assassinated in<br />

the city of Mosul before he accomplished his historic<br />

mission.<br />

<strong>The</strong>se developments also led to the Birth of the<br />

“Jiyanewey Kurd” Party in 1942 whose ideas were an<br />

expression of Kurdish people’s aspirations for liberation<br />

<strong>and</strong> unification of <strong>Kurdistan</strong>. In 1959 another party<br />

“KAJYK” was born <strong>and</strong> continued the path of the Kurdish<br />

revolutions <strong>and</strong> movements that asked for a Kurdish state<br />

<strong>and</strong> established the philosophical foundations for the<br />

liberation <strong>and</strong> independence of <strong>Kurdistan</strong> in the book<br />

“Kajyknama = the Kajyk Massage”.<br />

<strong>The</strong>se developments had a large role in the<br />

establishment of the <strong>Kurdistan</strong> Democratic Party – Iran<br />

in 1945 <strong>and</strong> the <strong>Kurdistan</strong> Democratic Party – Iraq in<br />

1946, <strong>and</strong> in later dates, in the fifties <strong>and</strong> sixties, parties<br />

with identical names were also established in the Western<br />

<strong>Kurdistan</strong> (Syrian <strong>Kurdistan</strong>) <strong>and</strong> Northern <strong>Kurdistan</strong><br />

(Turkish <strong>Kurdistan</strong>). All this also had a huge effect<br />

on the ignition of 11 September 1961 Revolution under<br />

the comm<strong>and</strong> of the late Mella Mustafa Barzani. <strong>The</strong><br />

revolution had a great echo in the consciousness of the<br />

Kurdish people <strong>and</strong> in the other parts of <strong>Kurdistan</strong>,<br />

especially after the agreement of 11 March 1970 that<br />

also led to the creation of numerous Kurdish parties in<br />

the Northern <strong>and</strong> the Western <strong>Kurdistan</strong>. <strong>The</strong> fall of the<br />

mentioned Revolution in 1975 led to establishment of<br />

several Kurdish parties in the Southern <strong>and</strong> the Eastern<br />

<strong>Kurdistan</strong>. <strong>The</strong> heroic struggle of the 11 September 1961<br />
