<strong>The</strong> Kurdish Governments<br />

<strong>and</strong> Revolutions Since the<br />

Start of Islam until the Beginning<br />

of the Nineteenth Century<br />

From the early days of the spread of Islam in <strong>Kurdistan</strong>,<br />

the Kurdish people have been able to distinguish between<br />

the ill intentions of the racist governing bodies of Arabs,<br />

Turks or Persians <strong>and</strong> the pure feelings of religious faith<br />

of the Kurdish people. <strong>The</strong>y have seen how the former<br />

have tried to exploit them in the name of Holy Islam; in<br />

itself free of any racism <strong>and</strong> prejudice, <strong>and</strong> have<br />

understood that the goal behind these actions is nothing<br />

but the take over <strong>and</strong> colonisation of <strong>Kurdistan</strong>. For this<br />

reason the reaction of the Kurdish people to the colonisers<br />

has been violent from the start. This reaction has been<br />

manifested in constant revolutions <strong>and</strong> bloodbaths for<br />

the sake of <strong>Nation</strong>al independence for <strong>Kurdistan</strong>. This<br />

becomes evident in the following expose that sums up<br />

the history of those revolutions <strong>and</strong> their accompanying<br />

numerous Kurdish governments:<br />

<strong>The</strong> great Kurdish leader Abu Moslem El Khorasani<br />

has eradicated the racist Umayyad kingdom by bringing<br />

his support to the Abbasid <strong>Nation</strong>, believing that this<br />

would improve the state of the Kurdish people. However<br />

matters only worsened for the people. Upon this when<br />
