is regarded as a strike against the interests of the local<br />

<strong>and</strong> occupying bourgeoisie, <strong>and</strong> liberates the people of<br />

<strong>Kurdistan</strong> from oppression <strong>and</strong> national <strong>and</strong> class<br />

exploitation in the same time.<br />

Let alone the demagogic <strong>and</strong> ambiguous ideas of those<br />

who carry the slogan of the autonomy for <strong>Kurdistan</strong> within<br />

the borders of the countries occupying <strong>Kurdistan</strong> by<br />

insisting on democracy. As they say: “<strong>The</strong>re will not be<br />

autonomy <strong>without</strong> a democratic life.” This is while they<br />

<strong>and</strong> everyone knows that those governments are not ready<br />

even to underst<strong>and</strong> what democracy means, as they deny<br />

their own Arabic, Turkish <strong>and</strong> Persian people the simplest<br />

democratic <strong>and</strong> human rights. So, how can we ask them<br />

to recognize the national rights of the Kurdish people?<br />

This is a condition for an impossible <strong>and</strong> unrealistic strange<br />

dem<strong>and</strong>!! One who has not something cannot award it.<br />

If you think that it is difficult to achieve an independent<br />

Kurdish state, then to sustain an autonomy within such<br />

sort of states is impossible.<br />

I am not against democracy <strong>and</strong> for the peoples of the<br />

world to enjoy it. However, I am saying that as a loyalty<br />

to the blood of our martyrs that it is a pity for the<br />

intellectuals <strong>and</strong> leaders of my people to condition <strong>and</strong><br />

relate the possibility for our people to be able to read<br />

<strong>and</strong> write in their own language with the application of<br />

any system in other peoples’ countries. Let us leave the<br />

peoples of our region alone to choose any regime they<br />

desire (as we are not their keepers), they may even choose<br />

a regime better than a democracy! So, once again let<br />

them choose <strong>and</strong> let our people choose their own system<br />

<strong>and</strong> state.<br />

Let us now turn our attention to another side of the<br />

suffering, as many of the Kurdish parties call for the<br />
