The revised zoning map, land use tables and relevant development standard objectives <strong>to</strong> <strong>be</strong> used in
the draft LEP are included in Attachment B <strong>to</strong> this report..
CONSULTATION
The Department has advised the Plan is ready for formal exhibition subject <strong>to</strong> the conditions
outlined in the Section 65 Certificate.
FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS
Planning for St Ives <strong>to</strong>wn centre is covered by the Planning Department budget.
CONSULTATION WITH OTHER COUNCIL DEPARTMENTS
Council has adopted an integrated planning approach <strong>to</strong> the centres planning and the relevant
Departments have <strong>be</strong>en consulted in preparing this report.
SUMMARY
The Department <strong>of</strong> Planning have issued a conditional Section 65(2) Certificate for the draft LEP
2006 exhibition – this report outlines the requirements and recommends the changes <strong>to</strong> <strong>be</strong> made.
RECOMMENDATION
That Council amend the Draft Ku-ring-gai Local Environmental Plan 2006 (Town Centres),
in accordance with the conditions set out in the Section 65(2) Certificate issued on 30 June
2006 by the Department <strong>of</strong> Planning, prior <strong>to</strong> formal exhibition <strong>of</strong> the draft Local
Environmental Plan.
