NOTICE OF MOTION
CAROLS IN THE PARK WAHROONGA
Notice <strong>of</strong> Motion from Councillor N Eb<strong>be</strong>ck dated 25 June 2006.
The combined churches <strong>of</strong> Wahroonga hold an annual community event, Carols in the Park,
<strong>held</strong> in Wahroonga Park on the 9th Decem<strong>be</strong>r 2006. This has <strong>be</strong>en a very successful event
now for the past 3 years and has provided a wonderful community spirit for the district <strong>of</strong>
Ku-ring-gai.
In recent years all Wahroonga churches have joined <strong>to</strong> make this event a special Christmas
Service, however due <strong>to</strong> the inability <strong>of</strong> one church not <strong>to</strong> <strong>be</strong> able <strong>to</strong> participate this year the
event is likely <strong>to</strong> not <strong>be</strong> able <strong>to</strong> continue due <strong>to</strong> lack <strong>of</strong> funds.
The event requires the use <strong>of</strong> the Wahroonga Park.
I move that:
"The Combined Churches Carols in the Park event <strong>to</strong> <strong>be</strong> <strong>held</strong> at Wahroonga Park and
organised by the Combined Churches <strong>of</strong> Wahroonga <strong>be</strong> exempted from Councils fees and
Charges".
RECOMMENDATION
That the above Notice <strong>of</strong> Motion as printed <strong>be</strong> adopted.
