COUNCIL ADOPTION OF 2006/2007 FEES AND
CHARGES - MINOR AMENDMENT REQUIRED
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
PURPOSE OF REPORT:
To advise Council <strong>of</strong> a proposed word change in
one <strong>of</strong> the Golf Course Fees & Charges due <strong>to</strong>
an administrative oversight.
BACKGROUND:
On 13 June 2006 Council resolved <strong>to</strong> adopt the
2006/2007 Management Plan and Fees &
Charges. The Fees & Charges were exhibited
for a period <strong>of</strong> 31 days from 28 April 2006 <strong>to</strong> 29
May 2006.
COMMENTS:
During the exhibition period Open Space
received no submissions in relation <strong>to</strong> the
exhibited Fees & Charges. However, Tee<strong>to</strong>ps
(Council’s Golf Course Pr<strong>of</strong>essional contrac<strong>to</strong>r)
advised in writing on 6 July 2006 an error
relating <strong>to</strong> the lilac golf card wording descrip<strong>to</strong>r,
as a direct consequence <strong>of</strong> entry fee signage (at
both golf course pro shops) <strong>be</strong>ing amended <strong>to</strong>
reflect Council’s resolution <strong>of</strong> the 2006/2007
Fees & Charges.
RECOMMENDATION:
That Council adopt the lilac golf card wording
descrip<strong>to</strong>r <strong>to</strong> <strong>be</strong> “Green Fees - Concession -
Weekend 9 or 18 holes” at $17.00 minus the
word “pensioners” and the word "senior student"
<strong>be</strong> added as an amendment <strong>to</strong> the 2006/2007
Management Plan Fees & Charges.
