weekend (32.6%) compared <strong>to</strong> the weekday (18%). Respondents are more likely <strong>to</strong>
visit bushland areas either weekly (13.8%) or monthly (15.4%) as oppose <strong>to</strong> on a daily
basis (4.6%).

A significant num<strong>be</strong>r <strong>of</strong> responses identified walking (67.3%) as the main method <strong>of</strong>
transport <strong>to</strong> bushland areas; vehicle (26.4%) was the second highest. It is noticeable
that public transport was not identified as a means <strong>of</strong> travel by any <strong>of</strong> the respondents.
