This is an advanced level course in shipboard management<br />

Port State Control <strong>and</strong> Management Practices in the Multi-ethnic<br />
Environment commonly found aboard ships at sea.<br />
The course is designed to give students advanced materials<br />
leading to an underst<strong>and</strong>ing of ship control <strong>and</strong> inspection under<br />
port state principles, ship management in today’s personnel<br />
environment, crisis management <strong>and</strong> managing in other adverse<br />
situations such as those found in ice navigation operations.<br />
