This is a skills training course designed to teach the student<br />

how to identify, select <strong>and</strong> safely use proper tools for given<br />

Stem Packing; Piping; Metrology.<br />

Duration - 5 weeks<br />

Laboratory - 8 hours/week = 40 hours total<br />

WKPR 2116 (Fitting Shop II)<br />

This is a skills training course designed to give the student<br />

practice in identifying <strong>and</strong> selecting the tools for a given<br />

application. The student will also practice the safe <strong>and</strong> proper use<br />

of these tools in the completion of shop projects.<br />

This is a skills training course designed to give instruction <strong>and</strong><br />

h<strong>and</strong>s-on practice in the safe <strong>and</strong> efficient use of Machine Shop<br />

tools <strong>and</strong> equipment.<br />

Cutting Speeds <strong>and</strong> Feeds; Cutting Fluids; Sawing Machines;<br />

Drills <strong>and</strong> Drilling (Lathe); Taper Turning; Other Lathe Operations;<br />

This course is designed to provide students with a background<br />

course will provide h<strong>and</strong>s-on experience with machinery <strong>and</strong><br />
