given instruction <strong>and</strong> h<strong>and</strong>s-on practice in the speeds <strong>and</strong> feeds<br />
for various machining operations, cutting fluids, power saws,<br />
drills <strong>and</strong> drilling (lathe), <strong>and</strong> taper turning, as well as in the use<br />
of steady <strong>and</strong> follower rests, <strong>and</strong> other lathe operations such<br />
as boring, reaming, knurling, parting, recessing, tapping, milling<br />
machine speeds <strong>and</strong> feeds, indexing head, <strong>and</strong> machining of spur<br />
gears, machine ability of various metals, uses of Acme Threads,<br />
machining of Acme Threads, uses of Square Threads, machining<br />
of Square Threads, Tool Bit Grinding <strong>and</strong> Drill Bit Sharpening.<br />
