CHAPTER 4: Organizing Projects
General
• Open Graph Meta Tags: Enables you to create a Facebook Open Graph Object with metadata for a
project, and when a user posts the web app to Facebook, Facebook can use the metadata to generate the
post summary. See "Open Graph Meta Tags" on page 107.
• Optimization: Enables the preloading of assets. See "Optimizing at the Project Level" on page 134.
• Analytics: Enables page and page element tracking. See "Adding Site Tracking" on page 374.
• Export: Enables you to host a project in an environment external to 5ml. See "Export" on page 109.
• Manifest: Enables you to store project data (except audio and video files) on the mobile device's offline
cache. See "Manifest" on page 109.
The General section, on the project Settings page, allows you to add page metadata tags to landing pages. (This
functionality does not apply to advertisement projects.) Metadata tags help search engines and users find your content.
HTML meta tags are page data tags that lie between the open and close tags in the HTML code of a document.
The text in these tags do not display, but are parsible and help to tell the browsers (or other web services) specific
information about the page. 5ml supports the and page meta tags, as well as the
tag.
