CHAPTER 1: Introduction to 5ml
You learn how to create a project in "Adding a New Project" on page 94. The projects you create appear in a list
underneath the Add New button. Each project can include multiple pages.

After clicking on a project name, you can see the project's pages to the right. Clicking the pencil icon at the bottom of a
page (or double-clicking the page) opens the page in the Project Editor, as shown in Figure 1-3 on page 14.
The Project Editor is comprised of the following:
• The Canvas (center), in which you edit your pages
• The Library pane (top left side), which contains the widgets and your project assets
• The Page Outline pane (bottom left side), which shows the hierarchy of page elements
• The Properties pane (right side), which shows properties you can modify for the selected element on the Canvas
• The menu bar (along the top) with the New button, the Open and Save menus, and the Preview button
