CHAPTER 13: Using Layout and Navigation Widgets
Figure 13-14: Adding an image asset to the next set of a View Set element.
5. (Optional) Change the appearance of the view set by selecting the area above the dot, or selecting the View child
of the View Set parent in the Page Outline pane, and then changing the Background, Border, and Opacity settings
in the Appearance tab of the View Properties pane (for details on changing the appearance, see "Changing
Appearance Properties" on page 198).
These settings affect only the selected view set, not the entire View Set element.
6. Repeat Steps 3-5 for each new view set.
To set the playback of the View Set element, choose one of the following from the Playback menu in the General tab of
the View Set Properties pane:
• Manual: Let the user tap or click the dots in the View Set element to navigate to other sets.
• Automatic: Play the entire View Set element as a slideshow with transitions.
• Manual & Automatic: Play the entire View Set element as a slideshow with transitions, while also enabling the user
to tap or click the dots to navigate to other sets.
• None: Removes any playback modes.
After choosing Automatic from the Playback menu, you can drag the Delay slider to set the delay between view sets in
milliseconds, or click the delay controller at the right end of the slider to set the number of milliseconds. (The Delay slider
really determines how long the slide displays on screen before the next slide displays.) You can choose the type of
transition for automatic playback in the Transition drop-down menu, as shown in Figure 13-15 on page 339.
