CHAPTER 13: Using Layout and Navigation Widgets
After placing the View Set element on the page, you can add assets from the Assets pane, or widgets from the Widgets
pane, to each set within the element. You can also rearrange the order of the views using the Arrange buttons on the
Project Editor's top toolbar (for details, see "Arranging and Overlapping Page Elements" on page 181).
Note: To select the View Set widget on the canvas single-click on the View Set widget. To select a View, double-click the
View Set widget; the last active View opens. The active View is indicated by the highlighted dot.
To add a View Set widget to a page:
1. Drag one or more assets or widgets into the area above the dot in the View Set element, as shown in Figure 13-12
on page 336.
The elements appear in the Page Outline pane as child elements in relation to the View parent.
2. (Optional) Change the appearance of the view by selecting the area above the dot or selecting the child View
under View Set in the Page Outline pane, and then changing the Background, Border, and Opacity settings in the
Appearance tab of the View Properties pane (for details on changing the appearance, see "Changing Appearance
Properties" on page 198).
These settings affect only the selected view, not the entire View Set element.
3. Select the View Set and click the Add View (+) button in the View Set element's controller, as shown in Figure 13-
13 on page 337, to add the next set to the View Set element.
