CHAPTER 19: Deploying Your Project
Exporting a Project
You export a project when you want to host it on an external (to 5ml) Web server. You can export the entire project from
the My Projects page to the folder that your browser uses to download files. The project is exported as a standalone set
of files, in the form of a compressed "zip" file (with the ".zip" filename extension) that can be unzipped and then hosted on
a web server. The zip file uses the project name.
Note: Before exporting a project, you should consider adding the external host server's URL as some functionality
depends on the full URL path. For more information, see "Export" on page 109.
To export a project your user account needs to have the export feature enabled. To enable the export feature, contact
your 5ml representative.
To export a project:
1. On the My Projects page, click on the project name.
The Project Menu (
) icon appears.
2. Click on the Project Menu icon to open the menu, and select Export.

3. In the File Download dialog that appears, click Save to save the downloaded zip file, or Open to save the zip file
and then open it. (Or follow your particular browser's prompts.)
