Accessing the Library Pane
To create a successful web project, you need to use high-quality creative assets in your pages. These assets typically
include graphics, icons, images, and even audio and video clips. 5ml helps you organize your creative assets and use
them in multiple projects and pages. You can import assets into 5ml at any time while working on projects. Each
registered user can use up to 100 MB of storage for storing assets.
To import assets, open the Project Editor by opening a project page (for details, see "Opening a Project" on page 112). On
the Library pane, click on the Assets tab in the upper left corner of the Project Editor window, as shown in Figure 6-1 on
page 144.
The Assets pane of the Library is empty until you import assets. However, before importing assets, you may want to
create folders in the pane first, so that you can import assets directly into the folders, thereby making the assets easier to
find in the Assets pane. See "Creating Folders" on page 146.
When you want to use an Image asset in a project, you can preview it first before adding it to the Canvas. To preview the
Image, select the image on the Assets pane and click on the magnifier icon that appears at the top right corner of the
image icon. The preview window opens to display the image.
