CHAPTER 16: Using Web View, HTML, and HTML5 Widgets Using the HTML Widget The HTML widget lets you create a HTML element on a page into which you can directly enter HTML code. The HTML widget can take up the whole page or just a segment of the page. To place a HTML element on a page, drag the widget from the Other section of the Widgets pane to the Canvas, as shown in Figure 16-4 on page 366. You can then resize, align, and arrange the element to fit your page design (for details, see "Working in the Project Editor" on page 154). Figure 16-4: Placing a HTML widget on a page After placing the HTML widget on the page, you can open the HTML Editor to enter the HTML code. On the General tab of the Properties pane, on the right side of the Project Editor, as shown in Figure 16-5 on page 367, click Open HTML Editor. For details about which HTML tags are not supported by the HTML widget, see "About Unsupported HTML Tags" on page 1. - 366 -

The Properties pane for the HTML element appears on the right side of the Project Editor (refer to Figure 16-5 on page 367).
