Optimizing Through Image Quality
Another way to optimize the loading of your project is to alter the quality of the images contained in the project. The
lower the image quality the faster your project loads; however, images that are reduced in size can lose sharpness and
detail. For this reason, 5ml provides Image Quality presets, which affect both file size and image quality. Image quality
presets compress and shrink down the size of the image so that it loads quickly, but maintains a certain level of quality.
5ml provides several image quality presets to choose from. You can also choose a custom setting for images that are in
the JPEG format.
To set the image quality:
1. In the Optimization section, of the project Settings page, select an image quality preset value from the Image
Quality dropdown menu.
