Using the Twitter Follow Widget
The Twitter Follow widget lets you place a "Follow Me on Twitter" button on a page, with a choice of three button styles.
You provide the username for the Twitter account that users follow as a result of tapping or clicking the button.
To place the widget on a page and create an element from it, drag the widget from the Widgets pane to the Canvas, as
shown in Figure 14-5 on page 354. You can then resize, align, and arrange the element to fit your page design (for
details, see "Working in the Project Editor" on page 154).
To change the Twitter Follow element's properties, click the element on the page or select it in the Page Outline pane.
The Properties pane for the Twitter Follow element appears on the right side of the Project Editor. You can then set the
properties in the General tab of the Properties pane:
1. Enter the username for the Twitter account that the user can follow into the Twitter Username field, which is underneath
the ID field.
2. Click one of the three button styles for the "Follow Me on Twitter" button in the Button Styles subsection underneath
the Twitter Username field.
You can also customize the Twitter Follow element by changing properties in the Properties pane:
• The General tab lets you define the Twitter Follow element's optional ID. For details, see "Changing General Properties"
on page 197.
• The Appearance tab lets you set the element's background, border, and opacity, and add a reflection and shadow
to the element. For details, see "Changing Appearance Properties" on page 198.
