This feature is only for ad projects that will serve as in-application advertisements via the Mobclix ad exchange. Examples of native device functionality are; accelerometer, shake, device orientation, geolocation, and vibration. Native device functionality is supported through the ad exchange/ad network SDK (Mobclix iOS SDK) and by adding custom scripting or the event/action framework to a page. 5ml User's Guide Enabling Native Device Functionality for a Page After you enable the project to support native device functionality, you can add native device functionality to a page. To enable native device functionality on a page: 1. Open a project page, and on the Page Outline, select the page (or a page element). 2. On the Properties pane select the Behavior tab. Figure 17-1: Enabling native device functionality on the Behavior tab 3. Add a native device event and action. For example, from the Event drop-down menu, select the ondevicemotion event, and from the Action drop-down menu, select the Vibrate Device action. 4. Click Apply. The new behavior displays in the Behavior list. For more information about adding event/action behaviors and a list of supported native device behaviors, see "Changing Behavior Properties" on page 223. For more information about the native device functionality supported by 5ml, see "About Events" on page 224. Note: To view and test native device functionality you must preview the page using the Preview as Mobile App option; see "Previewing a Project" on page 120.
