Figure 8-17: Changing the opacity, line height, and character spacing.
Adding Text Wrap
You can add text wrapping to the Text Input, Text Area, Password Input, Radio button, and Checkbox elements. To add
text wrap to an element, on the Properties pane, click Wrap Content (refer to Figure 8-18 on page 213). (To select text
wraping for a Label widget, you select the Wrap text checkbox on the General tab.)
Adding Text Shadow
You can add a shadow to the text in an element. In addition, you can select the shadow color, change the vertical and
horizontal shadow offset, and change the shadow's blur effect.
To add a shadow to the text in an element:
1. Click the Text Shadow option to turn it on (refer to Figure 8-18 on page 213).
2. To change the shadow's color (set to black by default), click in the HTML color code box underneath the Text
Shadow option to show the color picker.
3. To set the shadow's color, click inside the color picker to pick a color component, and drag the slider on the right
side of the color picker to adjust the value of the color component (from saturated to black).
4. To change the Offset X (horizontal axis) and/or Offset Y (vertical axis) values for the shadow (which are set to 1
by default), click the up or down arrows for the Offset X and/or Offset Y controls under the HTML color code box,
or enter the offset in pixels.
5. To blur the edges of the element, click the up or down arrows for the Blur control, or enter the number of pixels to
use for blurring (set to zero by default for no blurring).
