Using the YouTube Widget<br />

The YouTube widget places a YouTube video clip on a page with controls for users to play or pause the video, scrub<br />

through the video, adjust the sound, play the video full-screen, and jump to the YouTube page where the video resides.<br />

To place the YouTube element on a page, drag the widget from the Media section of the Widgets pane to the Canvas, as<br />

shown in Figure 11-27 on page 285. You can then resize, align, and arrange the element to fit your page design (for<br />

details, see "Working in the Project Editor" on page 154).<br />

To change the YouTube element's properties, select the element on the page or in the Page Outline pane. The Properties<br />

pane for the element appears on the right side of the Project Editor.<br />

To assign a YouTube video clip to the element, enter the YouTube video ID (not the entire URL for the YouTube video,<br />

just the ID portion at the end of the URL) in the Video ID field in the General tab at the top of the YouTube Properties<br />

pane, as shown in Figure 11-28 on page 286.<br />
