5.5 Downconvert AFD Default<br />
<strong>FS1</strong> <strong>Installation</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Operation</strong> Manual — 5.5 Downconvert AFD Default<br />
This parameter selects how the <strong>FS1</strong> will operate when parameter 5.2 Downconvert<br />
Mode has been set to Auto AFD <strong>and</strong> no AFD codes are detected at the selected input<br />
source (i.e., selects which default downconversion to use when no AFD is present).<br />
5.5 Downcvt AFD Dflt Description of Choices<br />
Parameter Adjustments:<br />
Hold Last (Default)<br />
Letterbox<br />
14x9<br />
Anamorphic<br />
Crop<br />
Use the last AFD code detected <strong>and</strong> continue to use its aspect ratio selection until a<br />
new AFD code is detected again in the SDI meta data.<br />
When an AFD code isn’t present, switch the downconverter mode to Letterbox.<br />
When an AFD code isn’t present, switch the downconverter mode to 14x9.<br />
When an AFD code isn’t present, switch the downconverter mode to Anamorphic.<br />
When an AFD code isn’t present, switch the downconverter mode to Crop.<br />
