A higher number of pixels displaysa better resolution and picture.Refresh rate: Determines how often the image on the screen is redrawn. Refresh rate isexpressed in hertz (Hz). The higher the refresh rate, the more steady the screen image.Display colors: Determines the number of colors visible on the screen at once. Colorsare created by varying the intensity of the three basic colors (red, green, and blue). Themore bits, the greater the number of colors. The following is a list of color depths:■■■■256 colors: 8-bit color65,536 colors: 16-bit color (High Color)16 million colors: 24-bit color (True Color)16 million colors: 24-bit color (True Color with 8-bit padding to allow 32-bit processing)When troubleshooting a display problem, check that the driver is fully compatible with thegraphics card. Windows might install a default driver that works, but might not provide allthe available options for best viewing and performance.
