vii.viii.ix.The employee takes a service user to an appointment outside normal work hours.The employee travel time for interstate travel outside normal work hours.The employee delivers money/petty cash reimbursement etc. at <strong>the</strong> Weston office on<strong>the</strong> way home, outside normal work hours.10. Time off in Lieua) The maximum amount of time in TIL that can be accrued is 32 hours.11. SALARY PACKAGING(a) Parameters of <strong>the</strong> salary packaging systemSalary packaging will be as part of this Agreement, on <strong>the</strong> following basis:(i) it is to be offered to employees on an optional basis. No employee will bepenalized for refusing to enter into a salary package agreement(ii) it is available to all permanent employees (FT and PT) and to staff employed on acontract for twelve months or longer(iii) it is to have no detrimental effect on o<strong>the</strong>r employee entitlements (see clause 19dbelow)(iv) <strong>the</strong> Organisation will not charge employees for administration of <strong>the</strong> scheme,except as provided for under clause 19(a)(vii) below(v) <strong>the</strong> Organisation will provide financial assistance to workers t assist <strong>the</strong>m to getindependent financial advice in relation to salary packaging(vi) with <strong>the</strong> agreement of all employees eligible for salary packaging, <strong>the</strong> financialbenefits of salary packaging may be divided between <strong>the</strong> Organisation and <strong>the</strong>employee. The maximum benefit can <strong>the</strong>n be retained by <strong>the</strong> organization under sucha division is 30% (a minimum 70% of <strong>the</strong> benefit to be received by <strong>the</strong> employee)(vii) where 100% of <strong>the</strong> benefit is received by <strong>the</strong> employee, <strong>the</strong> Organisation maycharge a fee to cover expenses associated with administration of salary packagingviii) <strong>the</strong> Organisation will ensure that <strong>the</strong> structure of any agreed package complieswith taxation and o<strong>the</strong>r relevant laws(ix) The organization will confirm in writing to <strong>the</strong> employee <strong>the</strong> classification leveland current salary payable as applicable to <strong>the</strong> employee under <strong>the</strong> Agreement(x) <strong>the</strong> Organisation will advise <strong>the</strong> employee in writing of <strong>the</strong> right to receivepayment of <strong>the</strong> salary mentioned in clause 19(a)(ix) above, instead of a salary package(xi) <strong>the</strong> Organisation will advice <strong>the</strong> employee in writing that all currently applicableconditions o<strong>the</strong>r than <strong>the</strong> salary shall continue to apply(xii) <strong>the</strong> employee may package <strong>the</strong> applicable salary under <strong>the</strong> Agreement into a nonsalaryfringe benefit up to a maximum of $15, 450 per annum (or $30,000 grossed upin accordance with <strong>the</strong> Fringe Benefits Tax Assessment Act 1986)(xiii) <strong>the</strong> employee shall be entitled to inspect details of <strong>the</strong> payments and transactionsmade under <strong>the</strong> terms of an agree package(xiv) if <strong>the</strong> Organisation ceases to attract exemption from payment of Fringe BenefitsTax in respect of grossed-up fringe benefits of up to $30,000 per employee per annum,and/or ceases to attract status as a Public Benevolent Institution for <strong>the</strong> purposes ofsection 57A of <strong>the</strong> Fringe Benefits Tax Assessment Act, all remuneration packagingarrangements shall be terminated and individual employees’ salaries will revert tothose previously specified (adjusted for any increments in salary)(b) – Opting in and out of packagingCommunity Sector Multiple Business Agreements 2006
