D15 Toora Women IncThe following additional terms are only binding on Toora Women Inc and <strong>the</strong> employees ofToora Women Inc1. Annual Leave(a) Employees are entitled to five weeks Annual Leave on full pay each year.(b) The employee is entitled to Annual Leave Loading, as set out in clause 2 of this Scedule.(c) Annual Leave must generally be taken at least twice a year and <strong>the</strong> full entitlement takenin <strong>the</strong> year. By mutual agreement in writing between <strong>the</strong> employee and <strong>the</strong> ED, <strong>the</strong> taking ofAnnual Leave may be deferred for no more than two years from <strong>the</strong> date when <strong>the</strong> right toAnnual Leave accrued.(d) Annual Leave may be converted to sick leave, where an employee falls sick while onAnnual Leave.(e) Applications for Annual Leave must be discussed between <strong>the</strong> employee and <strong>the</strong>employee’s team and taken at a time suitable to both <strong>the</strong> employee and <strong>the</strong> team.2. Leave Loading(a) <strong>the</strong> provisions of <strong>the</strong> <strong>MEA</strong> relating to leave loading will apply, with <strong>the</strong> exception of <strong>the</strong>application of clause 2 (b) below.(b) Leave loading is paid to all employees entitled to annual leave, at <strong>the</strong> rate of 20%.3. Long Service Leave(a) employees are entitled to Long Service Leave in accordance with <strong>the</strong> Long Service leave(ACT) Act 1976 and as amended, with <strong>the</strong> exception of <strong>the</strong> application of clause 3(b) below.(b) Employees are entitled to Long Service leave on <strong>the</strong> following basis:(i) Eight weeks leave at full pay for <strong>the</strong> first five years completed service.(ii) Four weeks leave at full pay for each additional two years completed service.(c) A worker must take <strong>the</strong>ir full long service entitlement after each seven years of service(d) periods of leave without pay are not included as completed service for <strong>the</strong> purpose of <strong>the</strong>secalculations.4. Maternity Leave(a) Employees are entitled to twelve weeks maternity leave on full pay, provided:(i) They provide a certificate confirming pregnancy (including <strong>the</strong> expected date)(ii) Generally, that <strong>the</strong>y are not less than twenty-six weeks pregnant at <strong>the</strong> time <strong>the</strong>leave is taken (although <strong>the</strong> ED may agree to an earlier date)(iii) They have been in continuous employment with <strong>the</strong> Organisation for aminimum of twelve months at <strong>the</strong> time <strong>the</strong> leave is taken.(b) Employees are also entitled to an additional forty weeks unpaid leave, to be takenimmediately following <strong>the</strong> period of paid Maternity leave.(c) <strong>the</strong>se entitlements apply equally to employees adopting a baby. In this case, <strong>the</strong>y mustprovide proof of adoption.(d) Where an employee requires leave due to <strong>the</strong>ir partner having a baby, <strong>the</strong> employee maynegotiate <strong>the</strong> matter with <strong>the</strong> ED. The Ed may approve up to fifty-two weeks leave withoutpay for <strong>the</strong> employee.Community Sector Multiple Business Agreements 2006
