Incremental progression will be in accordance with clause 10 of Community SectorMultiple Business Agreement (Australian Capital Territory)1.1.3. At <strong>the</strong> annual review for a Community support worker level 4 Year 4, <strong>the</strong> employeeand supervisor will develop a plan for professional development for <strong>the</strong> purpose offacilitating broadbanding to <strong>the</strong> first increment of community support worker Level 5at <strong>the</strong> end of <strong>the</strong> following 12 months service. Professional development activities tobe considered should take into account <strong>the</strong> requirements for a community supportworker class 5 to possess <strong>the</strong> skills necessary to be able to work autonomously undergeneral direction of more senior employees and be responsible for a range offunctions within <strong>the</strong> organisation requiring a high level of knowledge and skills1.1.4. Transitional Provision. An employee, who at <strong>the</strong> time this Agreement is made isalready employed as a community support worker Level 4 Year 4, will be providedwith <strong>the</strong> opportunity for a professional development review within 3 months for <strong>the</strong>purpose of enabling consideration for broadbanding no later than at <strong>the</strong>ir nextanniversary of reaching <strong>the</strong> Year 4 increment.1.1.5. A community support worker who has completed 12 months service at CommunitySupport Worker Class 4 Year 4 is eligible to progress to <strong>the</strong> first increment ofCommunity Support Worker Class 5 subject to <strong>the</strong> following requirements:1.1.5.1. The requirements for incremental progression set out in clause 10.1 of <strong>the</strong> MBA aremet, and1.1.5.2. In accordance with <strong>the</strong> professional development plan developed at <strong>the</strong> previousannual review (clause 10.2 of <strong>the</strong> MBA), <strong>the</strong> employee is able to demonstrate that<strong>the</strong>y possess <strong>the</strong> skills required to be able to work autonomously under generaldirection of more senior employees and be responsible for a range of functionswithin <strong>the</strong> organisation requiring a high level of knowledge and skills1.1.6. Progression to fur<strong>the</strong>r increments at Community Support Worker Grade 5 will besubject to meeting <strong>the</strong> requirements for incremental advancement set out in <strong>the</strong>MBA.6.
