6.3 For <strong>the</strong> purposes of sub-clause 6.1.1 and 6.1.2, any questions regarding <strong>the</strong> workperformance of a person on probation will be dealt with in accordance with <strong>the</strong>employee counselling and disciplinary procedures of clause 35.6.4 Upon engagement an employer shall provide each new employee with a writtenstatement which will specify:6.4.1 An outline of <strong>the</strong> duties of <strong>the</strong> position;6.4.2 The employee's regular hours of work;6.4.3 The employee's classification pursuant to this agreement;6.4.4 The length of <strong>the</strong> probationary period; and6.4.5 A Fair Work information statement.6.5 Full-time employment6.5.1 An employee not specifically engaged on a part-time or casual basis shall beentitled to full-time benefits.6.6 Part-time employment6.6.1 A part-time employee means an employee o<strong>the</strong>r than a casual employee who isengaged to work on a set and regular basis less than 38 ordinary hours per week.6.6.2 Where an employee works additional hours to replace ano<strong>the</strong>r employee who istemporarily absent from duty, those additional hours will not be taken to havechanged <strong>the</strong> employee's ordinary hours.6.6.3 Part-time employees shall work regular hours and days in accordance with clause7.6.6.4 For ordinary working hours, a part-time employee shall be paid <strong>the</strong> hourly rate asdefined for <strong>the</strong> work performed and shall be entitled to all entitlements under thisagreement.6.6.5 Part-time employees shall be entitled to all conditions on a pro-rata basis.6.7 Casual employment6.7.1 A casual employee means an employee specifically engaged as such and shall notinclude persons employed on a fixed term contract pursuant to this agreement.6.7.3 A casual employee shall be engaged for a minimum period of three hours for eachengagement.6.7.4 A casual employee shall be informed in writing upon engagement that:6.7.4(a)They are hired by <strong>the</strong> hour;Community Sector Multiple Enterprise Agreement 2009
