D12 Parentline ACTThe following additional terms are only binding on Parentline ACT and <strong>the</strong> employees ofParentline ACT1. SALARY PACKAGINGSalary packaging is available for all permanent staff on a voluntary basis, in accordance withParentLine policy and procedures. Staff should seek independent advice before entering intoa salary packaging arrangement.Salary packaging will only be provided at no additional cost to <strong>the</strong> organisation, and anyFringe Benefit Tax that may be incurred will be passed on to <strong>the</strong> staff member concerned.Staff may choose no more than two items to package, including voluntary superannuationcontributions. Salary packaging arrangements must be entered into before <strong>the</strong> work isperformed.2. CLINICAL SUPERVISIONEmployees will be required to attend supervision with a supervisor appointed by <strong>the</strong>Management Committee at regular intervals determined by <strong>the</strong> Management Committee.Costs of supervision will be paid by <strong>the</strong> agency.Annual supervision reports may be required to be presented to <strong>the</strong> Management Committee.3. STUDY LEAVEParentLine will support staff in <strong>the</strong>ir study choices by providing flexible work arrangements,including leave of absence to undertake <strong>the</strong> approved course of study, related study activitiesand required assessments. Financial assistance may be provided at <strong>the</strong> discretion of <strong>the</strong>Management Committee in accordance with ParentLine policy and procedures.Paid study leave up to a limit of two weeks for full time staff may be granted to an employeein any one financial year. Part time staff are entitled to <strong>the</strong> same amount of leave on a prorata basis. During a course of study leave entitlements may be accrued but will lapse uponcompletion of <strong>the</strong> course.The granting of study leave is at <strong>the</strong> discretion of <strong>the</strong> Management Committee, taking intoconsideration <strong>the</strong> staffing needs of <strong>the</strong> organisation at <strong>the</strong> time.4. SPECIAL LEAVESpecial leave on full pay may be granted for up to one working week in any one year at <strong>the</strong>discretion of <strong>the</strong> Management Committee. This leave does not accrue.5. STRESS LEAVEEmployees can be directed by <strong>the</strong> Management Committee to take up to one week a yearcompulsory stress leave. This leave does not accrue.6. CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR PERIODParentLine is closed in <strong>the</strong> period between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Stand downleave on full pay is granted to all employees for any days in this period not deemed to bepublic holidays.Community Sector Multiple Business Agreements 2006
