TroubleshootingLEDs Sounder <strong>Access</strong> Possible causes include… You should…––– ––– Denied a. Card reader needs cleaning. a. Clean the card reader head using a cleaningcard for magnetic stripe card readers.Greenflashesb. Primary wire harness isdamaged or disconnected.c. Foreign object is inserted inthe card reader.b. Check the primary wire harness. If it’sdamaged, replace the wire harness. Forstandard locks, see page 9–7. For exithardware trim, see page 10–9.c. Remove the object or replace the reader.d. Battery pack is faulty. d. Check the battery pack. Replace it, ifnecessary. See page 11–4.e. Firmware has locked up due to e. Contact your local BEST Representative.incorrect sequence whenconnecting the battery pack.f. Primary wire harness isdisconnected from the motoror is damaged.g. Smart card reader is notproperly aligned in the bezelon the inside of the reader.(Smart card present switch isstuck.)h.
