Installing the lock13 Make motor connectionFrom the inside of the door, connect the motorconnector from the chassis to its mating connector onthe wire harness.Note 1: The upgrade cable is used for reprogrammingthe lock’s firmware without removing the lock from thedoor.This cable does not connect to a mating lock connector.Note 2: The motor connection has 2 wires and 2 pins.The wire colors are yellow and gray.Caution: When making the motor connection,make sure:■ there are no loose wire connections where thewires are inserted into the connectors■ the connectors are firmly mated.Installation Instructions for B.A.S.I.S.
