At 50 percent powerthe load is on for 3 cycles and off forthree cycles. At 25 percent power it ison three cycles and off nine. Cannotuse voltage or pot input.Phase-angle (P input) control isinfinitely variable from full off to full on.It varies the turn-on time inside thesine wave. This provides a variablevoltage and current control. Thisoption includes soft start, line voltage<strong>com</strong>pensation and will work with a mAsignal, a linear voltage signal or a potinput. It will also control the primary ofa step down transformer. (This issingle-phase only.)The shorted SCR alarm option uses acurrent transformer to sense loadcurrent and a <strong>com</strong>parator to look atload current and <strong>com</strong>mand signal. Ifthere is <strong>com</strong>mand signal and loadcurrent, everything is OK. If there isload current but no <strong>com</strong>mand signal,the alarm will activate. The alarmoutput is a 0.25 amp triac that can beused to turn on a relay. The alarm willnot work on the phase angle optionand also will not work on a three poleDIN-A-MITE with an ungrounded load.407
