This service supports the day-to-day and long term strategic administrative<br />
business processes of the Institute.<br />
Customer role<br />
Contact the Service Desk to report problems with application, databases or<br />
access to the application servers.<br />
Clients must ensure adherence to all <strong>BCIT</strong> IT Policies ( #3501 and #3502.) Each<br />
client is responsible to maintain client data confidentiality as appropriate for the<br />
system they are accessing.<br />
How to access this service<br />
New Banner, <strong>BCIT</strong> Reporting, TM1 and Lotus Notes accounts – see “Account<br />
Management” in the Service Desk section. (Final authorization for Banner IDs is<br />
based on job duties.)<br />
Online Self Service and <strong>BCIT</strong> Reporting are accessed through my<strong>BCIT</strong><br />
(my.bcit.ca) or the <strong>BCIT</strong> public web site (www.bcit.ca).<br />
Depending on the application, Lotus Notes applications are accessed through the<br />
Lotus Notes client, the <strong>BCIT</strong> intranet* and my<strong>BCIT</strong> (my.bcit.ca) or the <strong>BCIT</strong><br />
public web site (www.bcit.ca).<br />
