JUBA, Nick<br />

Nick Juba, 59, Colver, died August 1, 1984, at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. He was<br />

born November 21, 1924, in Twin Rocks, a son of Charles and Helen (Rudiak) Juba. He<br />

was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> his parents. He is survived <strong>by</strong> these brothers and sisters: Nancy<br />

Nazar, New Jersey; Mike, Colver; Ann DelVecchio, New Jersey; John, Maryland; Many<br />

Mariano, New Jersey; Helen Strong, Pittsburgh; and Charles Jr., California. He was<br />

employed at Ebensburg Center. Friends were received at Matevish & Matevish Funeral<br />

Home, Ebensburg. Parastas and services were held at the funeral home. Divine Liturgy<br />

was celebrated <strong>by</strong> the Rev. Alexander Perove at Holy Ascension of Christ Orthodox<br />

Church, Colver. Interment was in the church cemetery. (The Nanty Glo Journal, Nanty<br />

JUBA, Stephen<br />

Man Killed in Fall of Rock<br />

Colver March 2 - Stephen Juba aged 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Juba was killed<br />

yesterday <strong>by</strong> a fall of rock in the Ebensburg Coal Co. mine. In addition to his parents, the<br />

victim is survived <strong>by</strong> a sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be conducted in the<br />

local orthodox church. Interment will be in the Colver Cemetery. (Indiana Evening<br />
