Anna (Warholic) Howiler (1927 - 2010) Anna (Warholic) Howiler, age 83, of Mentor for
the past 59 years. died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, at Altercare of Mentor. She was born
Nov. 15, 1927, in Coalport, Pa. Mrs. Howiler retired in 1997 from
Willo-Hill Industries in Willoughby, where she worked for 30 years.
She was the former owner/operator of the Variety Bar in Grand River.
She loved to cook and was a great homemaker, and Great Entertainer,
who loved to host family dinners and especially 4th of July and
Christmas gatherings. Survivors are her children, Robert (Shelby)
Howiler of Chester Township, Patricia (Wally) Yohe of Mentor, Karl
Howiler of Lakeline, Fla. and Ken (Sue) Howiler of Painesville;
grandchildren, Rob and Daniel Howiler, Chris (Stacie) Head, Kamber
(Desiree Howiler), and Liz, Paul and Dave Howiler; four greatgrandchildren;
six sisters and three brothers. She was preceded in
death by her parents, George and Mary Warholic; one sister; three brothers; and one
great-grandchild. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 Thursday at St. Bede the Venerable Church,
9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor. Everyone is to please meet at the church. Visitation will
be Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466
Mentor Ave., Mentor 44060. Interment will be in Mentor Cemetery in Mentor. Online

HOWILER, Shelby Jean (Stacy)[Bailey]
CHESTLAND, Ohio — Shelby Jean Stacy (Bailey) Howiler, 70, Chestland, Ohio
formerly of Grundy, Va. passed away Nov. 29, 2012 at Chardon Health Care. Born Feb.
18, 1942 in Grundy, Va., she was the daughter of the late Frederick
and Rebecca Stacy. She was a devout Christian and cared for people
her whole life. She worked in nursing homes for over 30 years.
Shelby was passionate about singing and hugging. She was a loving
wife, mother and grandmother. She was the sister, aunt, cousin and
friend to many. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
by her first husband, Zeldon Bailey and son, Timothy Bailey; sisters,
Naomie Stacy Campbell, Mildred Stacy Keene, Lydia Stacy Adams,
Anita Stacy Maggard, Gertrude Stacy Short and Pansy Stacy;
brothers, Radford, Harold, James and Clinard Stacy and an infant
sibling. Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Bob Howiler of Chestland, Ohio;
sons, Dwayne Bailey and wife Jo of North Perry, Ohio, Michael Bailey of Clarion, Pa.;
grandchildren, Brandon, Elizabeth Ann and Olivia; sister, Marie Stacy Dotson of Grundy,
Va.; brothers, Barnes Stacy of Grundy, Va., Freddy Stacy Jr. of Grundy, Va. Also
surviving are a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Funeral
services for Shelby Jean Stacy Howiler will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, 11 a.m. at
the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, Va. with the Rev. Michael Ashby officiating
with burial to follow in the Stacy Family Cemetery, Stone Coal Road, Grundy, Va. The
family will receive friends on Monday evening at 6 p.m. at the Virginia Funeral Home
where a service will be held at 7 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Hassell Dotson, JD
Adams, Sonny Charles, Ronnie Adams, and family and friends. Virginia Funeral Home
