BUSOVICKI, Sister Mary Ann<br />
Sister Mary Ann Busovicki, 62, a member of the School Sisters of St. Francis for 45<br />
years, died Tuesday, Jan 13, 2004, at Mount Assisi Convent, Bellevue. Sister Mary Ann<br />
entered the community from St. Anthony Parish in Clymer in 1957 and professed her first<br />
vows in 1958. During her years of ministry, she taught schools in the Dioceses of<br />
Pittsburgh, Altoona-Johnstown and Greensburg and in the Archdiocese of San Antonio,<br />
TX. She was a member of the North Hills Genealogical Society and the Western<br />
Pennsylvania Genealogical Society. She served as provincial treasurer from 1981 until<br />
1991 and also worked at Duquesne University and Marian Hall Home. Surviving are her<br />
brothers: John Busovicki, Clymer; Joseph Busovicki, West Lake, OH; Francis Busovicki,<br />
Brunswick, OH; and George Busovicki, Indiana; <strong>by</strong> her sisters: Helen DiFalco,<br />
Canonsburg; Margaret Kubalic, Pottstown; and Blanche "Bunny" Busovicki, Clymer; and<br />
numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. The daughter of the late<br />
Blanche Cernick and John Busovicki, she was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> a nephew, Kevin<br />
Kubalic. Friends were received from 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM(Wednesday, January 14,<br />
2004) at Mount Assisi Convent, 934 Forest Ave., Pittsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial<br />
was held at 3 PM (Thursday, January 15, 2004) at Queen of Angels Chapel, Mount<br />
Assisi, Bellevue. Arrangements were handled <strong>by</strong> Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home Inc.,<br />

CHERVENIC - Andrew "Andy," 87, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on<br />
Nov. 9, 2003, at LaurelWood Care Center. He was born on Jan. 23, 1916, in Smoke Run,<br />
Pa., son of Andrew and Anna (Wyda) Chervenic. Preceded in death <strong>by</strong> parents; wife,<br />
Jane M. (McGarvey); brothers, Michael, Joseph and John; sisters, Anna Sicktich, Julia<br />
Malhowsky, Eva Matolich, Katherine "Kass" Carlin, Helen Sass, Lou Mitchell, Dorothy<br />
Leath and Mary Makar; and an infant sister, Nancy Chervenic. Last surviving member of<br />
his immediate family. Survived <strong>by</strong> son, Andy "Terry," married to the former Bonnie<br />
Grabenstein, Johnstown, and a daughter, Judy, wife of Joseph Maurer, Richland;<br />
grandchildren, George Chervenic and his wife, Susan, Herndon, Va.; Leann, wife of<br />
