HOLOBINKO, Mary H. (Hines)<br />
MADERA - Mary H. Holobinko, 59, of Madera died yesterday, Sept. 2, at Clearfield<br />
Hospital. Born at Madera Feb. 24, 1921, she was the daughter of Peter and Eva (Rudiak)<br />
Hines. She married Joseph Holobinko, who preceded her in death, at St. Mary's Church,<br />
Madera, in 1939. Mrs. Holobinko is survived <strong>by</strong> two daughters, Mrs. Clark (Joan)<br />
Swistock of Madera and Mrs. Stephen (Judith) Merrill of Prince Edward Island, Canada;<br />
one son, Joe of Julian, and four sisters, Mrs. Emil (Anna) Filakowski of Garfield N.J.,<br />
Eva Hines of Madera and Sue Hines and Helen Hines, both" of Cleveland, Ohio. She is<br />
also survived <strong>by</strong> five grandchildren and these half brothers and sisters: Mike Belis and<br />
Mrs. Mary Stack of Cleveland; John Belis of Miami, Mrs. Pete (Ann) Zedack of Madera<br />
R.D. and Mrs. Pete (Nancy) Kolatsky of Clifton, N.J. In addition to her husband, Mrs.<br />
Holobinko was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> a brother, Mike Hines, and a half sister, Margaret<br />
Belis. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church, Beulah, of which<br />
she was a member, with the Rev. Poorman officiating. Interment will follow in the<br />
church cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Shoff Funeral<br />
Home, Madera. Parastas will be said at 8 p.m. Thursday (The Progress, Clearfield, PA,<br />
September 3, 1980).<br />
HOLOBINKO, Isabel F. (Hawkins)<br />
Madera - Isabel F. Hawkins Holobinko, 89, of Madera, died at 6:45 PM Saturday April<br />
29, 2000, at her residence. Born March 28, 1911, in Madera, she was a daughter of<br />
William H. and Rosella (Kepart) Hawkins. On April 26, 1942, in Ambridge, she wed,<br />
Frank "Bill" Holobinko, who survives in Madera. A 1930 graduate of Madera High<br />
School, she was a member of the Methodist Church, Madera; Madera Fire Ladies<br />
Auxiliary; a charter member of Pocahontas Auxiliary of Redman Lodge, Madera, and the<br />
Dairy Maids of Curwensville. In addition, she is survived <strong>by</strong> a nephew, James Hawkins<br />
of Springfield, Mass.,who she raised as a son and several nieces and nephews. Mrs.<br />
Holobinko was the last of her generation being preceded in death <strong>by</strong> her parents; seven<br />
brothers and four sisters, William, Essington, Lee, Edwin, Thomas, Charles, Richard,<br />
Elizabeth, Lydia, Margaret, and Nora. Services will be held at 11 AM at Kruise Funeral<br />
Home, Madera, with Rev. Dennis Adams officiating. Interment will be in the Umbria<br />
Cemetery, Osceola Mills.<br />

Houtzdale – Mass of Christian Burial for Jean T. Holobinko, 75, of Houtzdale will be<br />
celebrated Saturday February 23, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church,<br />
Houtzdale. Mrs. Holobinko died Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Altoona Regional Health System,<br />
Altoona Hospital Campus. Father Zab Amar will be the celebrant. Interment will be at St.<br />
Lawrence Cemetery, Houtzdale. Friends will be received Friday, Feb. 22, from 2-4 and 7-<br />
9 p.m. at Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc. Houtzdale. Father Amar will hold a vigil<br />
prayer service Friday, Feb. 22, at 3 p.m., followed <strong>by</strong> the recitation of the rosary <strong>by</strong> the<br />
